Foam nozzles

For foam extinguishers, the fire fighting results depend primarily on the user, the type of foam and the  foam nozzle. On the market there are currently 3 different systems (foam cartridge, float cartridge and the highly effective but highly service-orientated and aggressive premix solution). The function of the foam pipe or the foam nozzle is to obtain the best fire fighting test result in combination with the electrical test according to EN3 with all existing foam media on the market. Good atomisation is important as is the optimum mixture of water, foam and air.

A fine foam produces a large surface area and thus a good cooling effect, but the foam should not be too fine, otherwise a hot steam can be blown back at the user. (Scalding danger for users)

These points have been taken into consideration in the development of our patented foam pipe.
